I believe

 John 17:6

Because of what I have done and said, these people now know who You are. They were yours and you gave them to me. They have kept what You said.

Lord Jesus, thank you for what I have learned in my life about you and the Father. Thank you that the Holy Spirit has taught me so much. There is still so much to learn about you, and I am reaching for that today.

I am Yours because You made me. That is why I belong to You and I too have been given to Jesus. I belong to Him. One prayer I've been praying daily lately is Psalm 25:4 and 5. Also today this is my prayer, because I want to follow You and keep what You say:

Psalm 25:4-5

Show me the paths I must walk, Lord. Please show me the ways that You think are right for me. Show me the way of your truth. I want to learn from You, for You are the God from whom I expect my help. In you I place my hope every day of my life.

John 17:7–8

They know that everything I have comes from You. For what You have told me, I have passed on to them, and they have accepted it. They have come to the faith and conviction that You have sent me.

 

Thank You for the investment You have made in us humans, Father in Heaven. Throughout all these centuries and generations, you have remained true to your promises and have always longed to be close to us. You have done this by sending your Son to this earth to break down the wall of separation that stood between you and us - the power of sin. Because of Your death and resurrection, the power of sin has been broken, and we can now be very close to You and hear Your voice forever. That is why I too have come to believe and convince that You sent your Son into this world out of love for us. And that love will never leave us.

 

John 3:16

For God has so much love for the world that He gave His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
